Paste a YouTube link. Echo pulls the full transcript and distills it into a digest — so you can read in minutes what would take an hour to watch.
Welcome to Echo
Read what a YouTube video actually said — paste a link above to get the transcript and an AI digest. No account needed.
AI features (digest and passage lookups) need your own Anthropic API key. Your key stays in this browser — Echo only relays it to Anthropic on your behalf and never stores it on our servers.
Nothing loaded yet — drop a link above to pull the transcript.
No digest yet — choose your options above and hit Generate digest.

Your key is stored only in this browser and sent to this Echo server, which relays your requests to Anthropic on your behalf. It is not stored server-side or sent anywhere else.
Local Whisper transcribes the video's audio on-device when YouTube captions are missing (Fallback) or always, instead of relying on captions (High-accuracy). Nothing is uploaded — it runs entirely on your machine. Local/desktop only.
Sync your whole library into an Obsidian vault — an Obsidian vault is just a folder of Markdown files. Pick an existing vault folder, or create a new (empty) folder to start one.
Writes each library entry as a Markdown file into this folder on your machine.
Or download your whole library as a Markdown ZIP.
Used by the per-note "Send to Obsidian" button on each saved entry. Leave blank to use whichever vault is currently open in the Obsidian app.
